'Beating, vandalism' due to dispute over land in Gopalganj

In Gopalganj’s Kashiani Upazila, a woman and her son including three people were accused of being beaten up due to a dispute over land. At that time, there were allegations of vandalizing houses, looting of cash, goods and gold ornaments.

Inspector Sawgatul Alam said that the victim woman lodged a complaint at the Kashiani police station in Digharkul village of the upazila on Wednesday morning.

The three injured have been admitted to Kashiani Upazila 100-bed hospital.
