Final census results after BIDS 'authenticity' verification

In this regard, the Planning Minister said, “I am saying as the coach of this ministry, BIDS will be given full support. BIDS enjoys complete independence and there will be no interference in their work.”

In this year’s census, about 3 lakh 80 thousand workers are working to collect data using computer assisted personal interviewing (CAPI) method using digital device ‘tablet’.

Post-census verification is a full-count of a representative sample in which the data obtained is compared with the data collected during the original census.
