Child dies after falling into Royal Tulip Resort's swimming pool

According to the deceased’s relatives and the hotel authorities, Mujibur came to Cox’s Bazar with his wife and children on Friday morning. Later they boarded the Royal Tulip.

In the afternoon, Mujibur took a bath in the swimming pool with other family members. Meanwhile, his wife Sabina Yasmin Chowdhury Rumi and daughter Maria were sitting on the edge of the swimming pool.

At one point, baby Maria went down into the swimming pool without her mother noticing. After seeing him floating in the water, his relatives and resort staff rescued him and took him to Cox’s Bazar District Headquarters Hospital, said the police official.
