The US Embassy in Dhaka is going to start accepting visa applications from new applicants of Bangladeshi students for F, J and M category visas from next Sunday, 15th November 2020. Those three categories are Student Visa, Student Exchange Visa and Scholarship Visa.

However, due to the Covid-19 situation, the number of interviews on the embassy’s daily agenda will be limited and visa processing may take up to six weeks, the US embassy said in a statement on Friday. In addition, the embassy authorities have requested the applicants to plan their visa application and travel dates keeping in mind the visa process. To apply for US students visa you need to follow the official website at www.ustraveldocs.com/bd. After that, Applicants need to log on to www.ustraveldocs.com/bd website and update their profile online. If anyone doesn’t have any account they need to create an account and apply for a U.S Visa. An online interview they will take after paying the relevant visa fee from a valid applicant.
