Paragraph=The moral degradation of young generation has become a burning question today. The young people are being largely influenced by satellite TV channels and as a result, their moral values are being threatened to a great extent. Moreover, the young generation, the main power of our nation, is getting depraved for various reasons such as unhappy family, bad company, unemployment. depression, disappointment in love, etc. Now they are getting involved in various anti-social activities such as drug addiction, drug business, raping, toll extortion, terrorism, etc. Now the young generation should cultivate the virtues of truthfulness, piety, philanthropy, charity, etc. Young people are the future leaders of our country. It is the responsibility of all of us to make them aware about morality and motivate them to lead them to the right track of life. Arranging a seminar on this issue is a time-befitting initiative. We should pay more attention to morality-based education. But to our utter dissatisfaction it is largely absent from our curriculum and syllabus. It is high time we made reformation to this effect by giving topmost priority to morality-based education. If we fail to do so, our young generation will remain completely devoid of moral values. This moral vacuity will completely destroy the nation as a whole.
